Indirectly confirmed by EA Marketing Director David Silverman at the July 16th Australian showcase of Battlefield 4 with EA and EB Games, Mr Silverman stated that Operation Metro is the most popular map in Battlefield 3, thus indirectly confirming that it SHOULD return in the Second Assault DLC. Many may argue the popularity of Operation Metro is mainly due to the layout that allows for optimum stat boosting on conquest mode and that it should be “disqualified” from selection.
Battlefield 4 Second Assault will be available post launch first for Xbox One consumers. This Premium expansion pack will feature four of the most fan-favorite maps from Battlefield 3, redesigned to take advantage of our advanced Frostbite 3 engine and enhanced to include new multiplayer features from Battlefield 4.
Rumor has it, Caspian Border will also be coming to Second Assault and getting a Frostbite 3 make over. Fingers crossed.
